Description:- Slide Wire Rheostats:- The Slide wire Rheostats is made with variety of resistance and carrying so as to satisfy every need wires are heavily oxidized to provide perfect insulation. It has a non inductive core and as the core is non magnetic, magnetic effects are reduced by more than 90 percent. Rheostats are made in several sizes varying from 6 to 20. Standard Grooved Type Rheostats:- Rheostats Grooved type wound with Eureka wires on 5.6 cm dia tube in grooves to avoid loosening of wire. Brushes of hard laminated Brass and Phosphorous Bronze Strips Finished in Tilden gray and bright chrome. Rheostats (Nichrome Wire):- (Grooved DICA wound with Nichrome Wire on 5.6 cm. dia tube, most suitable for high current. Temperature rise 200 C above room temperature, very useful for industries, Projects and Research Laboratories etc. Loading Rheostats Single Phase:- These Loading Rheostats are fitted with heavy duty Porclein based tumbler switches for having the load in equal steps. A control switch with fuses and also two insulated terminals are provided for connections. Voltage in all the cases 250 Volts A.C. (At 220 volts AC the price will be the same).
