Compound Bi-Metal Bar Set of 4 To demonstrate unequal expansion of different metals when heated equally. Consists of two strips of different metals, riveted together, fitted to a wooden handle. Upon heating, the bar curls and bends because the riveted strips each have different coefficients of thermal expansion. Set consists of combinations: Brass/Aluminium, Brass/Iron, Copper/Iron, and Brass/Copper.
